Campbells is pleased to announce that Keithia Grant has been awarded our inaugural British Virgin Islands undergraduate scholarship for 2016.
Keithia is an aspiring legal student who will be journeying to England in the fall to attend Lancaster University. In addition to having excellent grades, Keithia is a very well-rounded individual who is actively involved in several volunteer programs and extracurricular activities such as the HIscc debating society, Phi Theta Kappa, HIscc Stingray Mentorship program and is the Vice President of the Student Government Association.
Keithia is currently a student at H. Lavity Stoutt Community College and finishing up her Associates Degree in General Studies with a concentration in Humanities. From a young age she discovered her passion for the law and for people and has found great interest in Human Rights and Family Law. “I truly appreciate Campbells’ investment in my educational endeavours. Honestly, words are not enough to express how I feel. I thank them for enabling me to pursue my dream in order to give back to this society. I hope that the firm continues to invest and create other opportunities for youths within this territory because investments like these are vital to our success,” Keithia commented.
“We are pleased to support this promising BV Islander,” says Kendell Mills, Managing Partner, BVI. He adds, “She exemplifies the qualities we look for and we are proud to support this bright and promising student with her educational endeavours.”
Keithia is the first recipient of the Campbells BVI Scholarship which was launched earlier this year. The scholarship is available to BV Islanders and BVI Belongers and applications are accepted for both legal and non-legal undergraduate degrees, with preference given to legal.
