Campbells is pleased to announce that Ashley Davies has joined the firm’s Hong Kong office as a partner in the Corporate & Finance Group.
Ashley brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the firm and specialises in a wide range of banking and finance matters including offshore/onshore cross-border lending structures, off balance sheet and other structured financings, margin loans, bilateral and syndicated loans, asset financings, leveraged and other acquisition financings, and take private transactions. Ashley also has a broad corporate practice, which covers M&A, joint ventures, continuations, asset disposals, private equity and venture capital structures.
Prior to joining Campbells, Ashley was a partner in another leading international offshore firm (based for two years in their BVI and Cayman offices and 8 years in Hong Kong) and he brings significant experience and an in-depth knowledge of the Hong Kong and wider China market to our Hong Kong team. Ashley worked on the financings of most of the early ground breaking Cayman statutory merger transactions in Asia including the very first Cayman statutory merger financing and the then largest public to private acquisition of a Chinese company. Ashley also worked on some of the first subscription line financings in the Asian market and has also experience of working on capital call financings in the Americas region.
